I am that kid’s mum. And very proud of him. He was also using one of the wheelchairs from the convention centre on that day as he had messed up his ankle at a trampoline park two days previously and also missed his school sports day as a result. He is now a very charming, handsome and gentle young man who still remembers that hug as a highlight of his life. There is a video on UA-cam somewhere of the question he asked which is what I was looking for. Still haven’t managed to find it yet. His biggest worry at the time was that Katie might get into trouble for coming off the stage! He was literally brining with delight though. She made his whole year I think. Thank you so much Katie Cassidy, you are an absolute gem.
